ABOUT ME
Welcome! My name is Taryn Herlich, and I’m a Toronto-based writer and mental health advocate. My work has appeared in Teen Vogue, Business Insider, Kveller, Parents Magazine, Toronto Star, The Spec, and a variety of blogs and websites.
My writing focuses on mental health, relationships, dating, trends, wellness, career, and social issues. As a Child and Youth Care graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University, my education is unique to writing and gives me a fresh perspective. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, whether it be for children’s mental health, a reading/writing tutor, or copywriter at multiple startups; my experiences are diverse.
As a creative writer, I am represented by Natasha Mihell at The Rights Factory. I have a love for creating works of children’s, middle grade, and young adult fiction. All things whimsical lyrical with a touch of magic and meaning are my passion.
